Nick was born in Cambridge in 1965 where his family were in business and farming. Nick was educated in Hertfordshire and North Devon and trained as an agricultural surveyor after completing his A Levels.
His family have run their own businesses for seven generations and Nick followed this trend by starting his own company at the age of 25. Dealing in employee relocation, Nick steered this company to the top of the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and to win the Virgin Customer Services Award within eight years.
Nick now co-owns cabaret restaurants and has his own property management company in Bournemouth. He still undertakes consultancy work in relocation and is considered one of the countrys leading experts in employee relocation policies.
Outside of business, Nick has used his skills to great effect in raising money for local charities. He and his business partner supported the establishment of Over the Rainbow in Bournemouth, he is a Director of Bournemouth Pride and is a Treasurer and Trustee of the Mayor of Bournemouths Charity Appeal.
Nick has lived around Bournemouth and Poole for over ten years and loves the area. Hes at his happiest walking his dog, Harry, in the Dorset countryside or on our unspoilt beaches. His other interests include reading, opera, windsurfing and kayaking. He is proud to be the godfather to three boys; James, Luke and Freddie and takes time out to see them whenever he can. He also has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Eurovision Song Contest, go on, ask him a question!
